A multicolored micromussa with green centers ringed in orange and deep red — the color combination the Holy Grail name refers to. Each polyp reads as its own small target, and the colony tightens up into a dense cluster as it grows.
Micromussa are among the more forgiving LPS. They want low light and gentle flow, and they color up best on the sand bed or low rock rather than up high. Strong light washes the reds out.
They respond well to spot feeding once tentacles are out in the evening. Small meaty foods will speed growth noticeably. Give them a few inches of space from neighbors.
